Lincoln Park Cosmetic Dentistry & COVID-19
Our community has gone through a lot over the last several months, and we are all looking forward to getting back into our normal routines and daily lives. While many things have changed, there is one thing that has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice; you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are put in place so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable. Our Lincoln Park dental team wants to share with you the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep both our patients and staff safe.
Here at Lincoln Park Cosmetic Dentistry, we follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We closely follow the activities of these agencies
so that we are up-to-date on any new
rulings or guidelines that may be issued.
When you come in for your appointment, you may notice some changes we have made to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
- Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions, and you’ll be asked those same questions again when get to our office. We will also take your temperature with a forehead scanner.
- All patients will use an anti-viral, anti-bacterial rinse prior to treatment.
- We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. We have also distributed hand sanitizer throughout the office for easy access.
- People can no longer congregate in the reception room; when you come in for an appointment you’ll be taken directly to your treatment room
- We are managing and scheduling appointments to allow for social distancing between patients. As you might imagine, this may mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment, or that you are asked to wait in your car until it is time for your appointment.
- Our team is allowing for greater time between patients in order to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
We look forward to seeing you soon, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at office number at 773-348-7008.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
